An Alluring Apartment Full Of Playful Monkeys And Copper Accents

Crisp, elegant, modern and light, this alluring apartment resides in Kiev, Ukraine. Designed and visualised by Spotless Agency, the interior is predominantly white with just enough warm accent pieces to make the stylish space feel inviting – whilst maintaining its sense of cool. White marble and copper highlights add luxe and lustre to the decor scheme, whilst large pieces of wall art add culture and intrigue. Russet brown furniture and feature walls evoke an Earthy flavour inside the crisp contemporary shell. Playful monkey figurines appear throughout the home, like easter eggs scattered around to seek out and spot.

A white modern sofa stretches across an open and airy living room. On the opposite side of the lounge arrangement, a russet brown accent chair is seated at each side of the fireplace.

Nestled in a nook by the window, a white chaise lounge chair matches with the design of the sofa. A black small side table stands by the side of the chaise to make this a relaxing spot to pick up a book – or a drink. Two green monkey figurines hang out on a stone plinth behind.

Two sputnik chandeliers adorn either end of the lounge area; their black spokes contrast against the light ceiling and walls.

A large round coffee table forms the centrepiece of the living room, set atop a huge area rug in shades of grey.

Modern wall art is hung behind the sofa to bring colour and intrigue to the pale grey wall. A copper vase and a glass pyramid paperweight make modern decoration on the round coffee table.

A one wall kitchen with island crosses the back of the open plan living room. Its tall black units contrast darkly with the surrounding pale decor.

Three white bar stools line up under the marble countertop of the kitchen breakfast island, their black legs standing bold against the stark white cabinets.

A wood cutting board brings a tactile warmth to the cold white marble countertop. The kitchen sink is set into a slick black worktop, beneath a unique modern chandelier.

Moving into the master bedroom, a large area rug brings organic pattern to the floor.

A modern bedroom feature wall adds texture to the decor scheme, where routed black panels are set perpendicular to one another to create linear pattern.

LED strip lights run from floor to ceiling by the bedsides, on their own linear path.

A black bedside table lamp sheds reading light from a dark wood effect drawer unit.

A copper table lamp illuminates the opposite side of the space on matching bedroom furniture.

Mirrors are set into columns at either side of the bed, to reflect light and make the room appear even more spacious.

The modern bedroom chair echoes the curves found in the bedroom rug design. A small money figurine strides across a small side table.

A glass wall ensuite bathroom adds a pink accent wall into the bedroom design. A piece of wall art sprinkles warm metallics.

Inside the master bathroom, the pink double sink bathroom vanity wall is lit by two neat wall sconces. The overhead bathroom pendant light looks like floating bubbles from an overfilled soapy bath.

The bathtub is set into a tiled volume, beneath a picture window with an enviable city view.

A monkey figurine happily curls its tail by a toiletries holder with a magazine rack.

The shower screen has a copper tint to it, and is accessorised with copper hinges and edge detailing to tie in with all the other accents throughout the home.

A black ladder shelf holds fragrances and spare towels.

Across from the glass sliding doors of the ensuite master bathroom, their is a walk-in wardrobe.

Inside the walk-in, there are rows of glass fronted closets that keep the dust off designer garments whilst allowing them to be quickly perused.

A soft brown cushioned ottoman occupies the centre of the dressing area.

One end of the cushioned ottoman serves as a perch for a ‘hear no evil’ wise monkey statue.

A black orb bedroom pendant light punctuates a russet brown feature wall inside the second bedroom.

The other side of the bed is home to a decorative Hawaiian surfboard and a monkey table lamp.

A black glass vase matches with the glossy black pendant light.

Green headboard upholstery and matching scatter cushions complement the earthy colour of the bedroom feature wall.

An orange bedroom chair draws the tone of the accent wall all the way over to the opposite side of the room.

A similar colour palette is repeated inside the guest bedroom, where softer brown is paired with green accessories. A Seletti Monkey Lamp swings in the corner.

Copper coloured closet doors tint the view of garments within.

A green bed runner cuts across a crisp white bed set.

From the bedside cabinet, a designer table lamp pushes light up over the copper etched headboard wall.

A two tone bedroom accent chair pulls the light and shade of the room colours together.

The last room we visit inside the apartment is cut through with an LED strip light from end to end.

In the shadows by the sofa, a small monkey holds a lamp – lighting its way toward the comfy brown pouf at the edge of the rug.

The pouf tucks away neatly under the coffee table when not in use: it can also be used as a footstool with the lounge chair by the window.

A dressing table morphs into a media storage cabinet as it reaches the centre of the wall beneath a tv.
