Red Accent Home Interior Shaped With Unique Decor & Accessories

Red accents heat up this uniquely styled home interior located in Ukraine, Kyiv, designed and visualised by HE.D group. The red characteristics are intermingled with eye-catching moments of monochrome pattern. Mint green elements cool and contrast with the warmer tones, and a distinctive yellow area rug freshens the centre of the small open plan living space. A circular shape theme runs through the veins of this red accented home design too, with curvaceous elements rounding out harsh corners. Wooden design features are styled with diagonally cut boards to give the pieces individual flair, and modern furniture designs spice up minimalist layouts. This little home tour is packed with inspiration galore!

An L-shaped modern sofa tucks into the corner of a small lounge design. A calming tonal palette of beige and cream colours the room, with one surprising flash of yellow in the weave of an extraordinary area rug.

Another eye-catching element enters the room in the shape of a modern chandelier. Clusters of white orbs are suspended high above the open plan lounge, drawing the eye upward to the modern staircase design.

A large swing arm wall lamp is positioned to shine its light over either end of the corner sofa.

The television is supported on a simple white stand that takes up hardly any floor space at all. The unique floor rug spreads out across the front of the sofa in a rectangular formation, before puddling into extended floor space with an interconnecting circular element.

Diagonal timber planks shape a beautiful design across a living room feature wall, which somewhat divides the lounge from the kitchen behind it.

A round coffee table echoes the circular design of the area rug.

Curves appear in many elements throughout the interior, including a curvaceously cut frameless wall mirror at the foot of the stairs.

The red kitchen at the back of the open plan room is cut through with large expanses of monochrome patterned tiling, both as a backsplash and as a backing for high open shelving units.

A dining area is included in the kitchen layout, with a table made of layered volumes of timber and diagonal cut planks to tie in with the wooden feature wall design. A delicate dining pendant light floats almost supernaturally above.

Unique dining chairs with arched backs continue the curved shape theme. Soft pampas grass lolls in a glass vase centrepiece.

The red one wall kitchen is topped with mint green shelving to devise cool contrast.

Monochrome tiles stop at the edge of the kitchen floor to be replaced by wide planks of pale wood laminate across the rest of the living space.

A wood slatted wall texturises the dining room, which differentiates it from the smooth wooden table and flooring. Spotlights dot a wooden ceiling soffit, and wall sconces glow from wood cladding around the entryway.

A large indoor plant extends a leafy welcome by the front door. The wall mirror reflects the kitchen at the other side of the room, making the space look twice its size.

Wall and floor pattern creates a visual intensity that plays with the dimensions of the space.

The staircase design incorporates smooth timber treads and illuminated handrails to build a crisp and clean aesthetic.

A glass balustrade on the landing area allows a view over the lounge area below. It also allows natural light from the landing window to flow freely into the stairwell.

Two beanbags and a small floor reading lamp rest on the landing to create a cosy hangout area or reading nook.

A circular rug design colours the floor.

A music area is fashioned at one end of the landing.

The other side of this space has been made into a kid’s study, where a modern desk design is amalgamated with a wall of practical shelving.

Natural daylight pours in from large windows to light up the desk and a Scandinavian style chair.

The kid’s bedroom is a curious space built from powdery coloured layers of shapely panels and wall decor. A pink floor bed has been given a unique headboard and siding design that looks like giant pink pebbles. A play bunk above it is hidden behind elliptical facing. See more ideas for kids’ beds.

Minty green shapes pattern the wall around a kid’s desk topped with a unique table lamp.

A kids storage system fills the other window alcove.

A chunky natural timber ladder climbs to the playspace above the bed.

On the opposite side of the room to the bed, a little pink vanity table and matching pouf sit in front of a tall arched mirror. A second mirror of the same style is lit around its edge, and the two together create the illusion of doorways.

The master has a brick red bedroom scheme with light grey touches.

Gold modern wall sconces light the bedsides.

Slatted doors reveal closet space.

A small swivel chair sits at a wonderfully smooth wall mounted vanity.

The closet is a shallow walk-in design with plentiful shelving and drawer space to accompany hanging rails.

Red walls colour the powder room, which leads through into a separate utility area.

The powder room and laundry room are tiled with the same monochrome design as featured in the kitchen.

The bathroom sink is a pedestal design that pushes up through a red vanity unit.

Black faucets emerge from a mirrored backsplash.

A large bathroom vanity light tops the wash area. A barn door made from diagonally cut timber seals off the laundry room.

The main family bathroom is a distinctive black, white and red design.

Bathroom furniture is kept minimal to let the bold wall and floor treatment breathe.

The red vanity unit provides a visual anchor.
